A 10-Week Group Coaching + Book Club
to help you Navigate Workplace Politics
The term “workplace politics” has become nearly synonymous with negative, sometimes abusive, selfish, corrupt, and harmful power moves. But politics come in many forms; there are also positive, honest politics that can help you become a better leader when used appropriately.
The good news is you don’t have to sacrifice your values and morals to be successful at work politics!
When we wrote the Millennials Guide to Workplace Politics (which is NOT just for Millennials!) we wanted it to be an often-referenced practical guide that offered:
Advice on navigating both informal and formal politics in any context
Descriptions to help you identify a variety of harmful political behaviors
Strategies for both proactive and reactive methods - and knowing when to use each
Knowing when to let go and leave due to an untenable situation
Introducing the Companion Book Club!
As a result of its popularity and in response to multiple requests, we now offer an author-facilitated book club with a group coaching component!
The 10-week program begins with a kick-off, followed by a review and discussion of chapters that receive the most requests for support, including:
Communicating effectively
Giving hard feedback
Negotiating
Dealing with harmful (“toxic” behaviors)
Knowing when to leave an untenable situation
Topics change based on the needs of the cohort.
We leave a few slots open for “hot seat” office hours where group members can ask for feedback about how to deal with any situation and members can learn from each other.
